Siubhan Clark

Siubhan Clark is a 200E-RYT/500RYT with a 300-hour certification specialty in Yin Yoga from the Summer's School of Yin.

Siubhan was diagnosed with Lupus in 1999 after the birth of her second child. With an unfavorable prognosis and poor treatment options, Siubhan began acupuncture.  After months of constant fatigue and pain, it was amazing to experience those initial few days of feeling normal again.  The symptom relief lasted longer and longer between treatments, and over time, she is still able to consistently remain stable with bi-monthly appointments.

In 2002, Siubhan received the additional diagnosis of Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and Fibromyalgia.  The key to fibromyalgia is staying active and keeping the connective tissue healthy. In Yin Yoga, the poses are held for a length of time in order to challenge the connective tissues throughout the body and improve their health and ability to move more fluidly. The addition of Yin Yoga into her regular exercise routine has helped immensely in reducing her symptoms and affording her pain-free movement.

Today, Siubhan lives a very active life teaching Yoga, Meditation, and Sound Healing classes thanks in large part to acupuncture and the healing practices of yoga and meditation.
